We follow the local government’s lead in terms of closing. If the government is closed due to snow or inclement weather, we will be as well. However, we open at our regular time if the government opens one or two hours late. If you don’t feel that it’s safe to come into the office on a day with inclement weather, please call or email us to let us know and you will not be charged. We never want you to compromise your safety.
-
Our office is closed for the following holidays: New Year’s Day; Memorial Day; July 4th; Labor Day; Thanksgiving and the day after; Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve. We remain open on all other federal holidays but that is also determined based on the individual therapist’s schedule.

We understand that life can sometimes prevent you from attending your therapy session, and we ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel. A $100 fee will apply if cancellations are made with less than 24 hours’ notice. In the case of true emergencies, we will not charge the fee. Additionally, if you know you will be away on vacation for an extended period, please inform your therapist as soon as possible to help us better manage scheduling.

Grove Counseling is not a crisis provider. Your therapist can not be “on call” to answer crisis calls, or be available for phone calls after business hours. If you or your child is having a mental health crisis, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
